Recreating a painting

Here are some images I took earlier this year when I collaborated with two Costume Designers, Charlie Bestwich and Yolanda Collins. We digitally recreated Jan Van Eyck, The Arnolfini Portrait from 1434. We rented out a grand hotel room in Bournemouth and Charlie and Yolanda arranged the costumes and models. Quite a lot of photoshop editing went into make it look as authentic as possible. I smoothed out the models skin for a painted effect and added a vintage texture to give the image a more old fashion look. I had a great time collaborating with costume designers and would love to have to opportunity to do it again.
